SACRED FEMALE TIMES THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE CLASSES

As women’s entire being is shifted by her cycles. It is always a good idea at the beginning of class to mention that during the first three days of her cycle or after the 4th month of pregnancy that she abstain from:

  1. Inverted positions: because the flow is down and out.

  2. Breath of fire or diaphragmatic pumping because of
Pressure these puts on the uterus.

  3. Locks and bhands: this is for pulling the energy up and in not what is needed at these times.

  4. Heavy navel point exercises such as stretch pose.

  5. During pregnancy (if no prenatal classes are available)
All of the above suggestions apply as well as no exercises done laying on the back or stomach.

Please inform women that you will give them alternative positions for any of these exercises and that all breath of fire can be substituted with long deep breath, O breath, or sitali breath.

CREATING A PRACTICE:

What is a practice? It’s the pathway to excellence. They say practice makes perfect, I don’t subscribe to perfect but to become effective and live in your excellence this is how to play with this life.

Now is the time to build your strength, courage and compassion for more and more people will look to you to help them through these tumultuous times. Yogi Bhajan said “Tomorrow a mass of people will call on you for help. What are you going to do?” Your depth, character, purity and commitment are being tested every day. What are you doing to sustain and build your essence so you cannot only face the test of the times but prevail and leave a powerful legacy behind? Wake up give yourself the chance to be the amazing human you came here to be.
You can start your practice by making a commitment to starting your day
By connecting to your deepest self. How can you do this? One way is to start your day with yoga and meditation. The videos sold here were made to help support you in creating this practice. May they serve you.

WHAT IS A PRACTICE?

A practice means that you are willing to use this lifetime to connect with the depth of yourself and experience that you are a soul in a human incarnation,
not the other way around. Sadhana is the part which encompasses early rising ambrosial hours (3-5:ooam or moving towards that), doing yoga, chanting God’s name and meditating, that would be text book correct but it is much more. It means you start doing Sadhana so you develop the awareness to live your life in the deep connection and co creation with the infinite all day long.

What comes of this? Why did I decide to try this? Not because I was drawn to the time slot. I used to go to bed at 2:00am so arising at close to that time was really not appealing. Because I wanted to be connected to God and experience that connection. That I would experience God and Me as one. You will have to ask yourself why do You want to do this? Or more adeptly why is this a must for conscious life now?

I will tell you what I feel this practice has done for me. It has helped me not to take things personally most of the time, to realize that God has a plan and that I can change my state of mind quickly and my emotions even more quickly by being in the core of my self. Here are some key words that I would associate with 30 years of doing Sadhana: awareness, intuition, strength, compassion, courage, a great sense of the absurd and a good sense of humor. The ability when things do seem down and darkest to use the down and the darkness.

Here is what I would recommend as steps that you may try to work towards
this practice. Try getting up 30-60 minutes earlier then usual so you can create a practice. Expect some days to be blissful and others difficult. Know that this will cleanse your subconscious and this will show up in different ways in each person. You may cry, you may feel sick physically, mentally emotionally it is the deepest subconscious cleanse available. It works with your energetic or subtle bodies. Don’t set expectations on this practice. Allow. Allow. Allow.

You are all being called upon during this time to move from strength and have the capacity to help that means you need deep inner and outer strength to be able to do this. I suggest a strong practice as your best bet. Bet on yourselves and rely on your practice.

COMMITMENT AND PROMISES:

Each commitment holds a promise of a return. The most important commitment you can have is to your soul, your spirit, and your life force. To take out your insurance plan for a life lived with integrity of spirit and power of body you need a plan. This plan is just to allow you to see if you have one, if you are willing to have one and the results I can promise you at each level of commitment.

Level 1

I am willing to commit to 1-2 classes/week. If I can’t make it to a group class I will do an Hour video class to keep this commitment. Check this if this is your level of commitment ______________.

My promise to you is you will feel better. Better about life and better about yourself. This is a toe in the water commitment and is not a real spiritual practice.

Level 2
I will come to 2-3 classes/week and I have a spiritual practice that I follow on a fairly regular basis.

My promise to you is you have started on the path and if you really want to come into your spiritual power you will have to do what is uncomfortable. Make the commitment to every day come rain, shine or dinosaurs. It’ time to recognize that to meet these times you need to up the anty.

Level 3
I am willing to commit to daily yoga (meaning 45min. or more) daily morning practice of 20-30 min. Meditation and I am serious about knowing that I am a spirit in a hue man incarnation. Check if this is your level of commitment.______________

My promise to you is that you are at the door of your spiritual practice and you will need help and assistance to stay on this path. Your word and commitment to yourself is great but sharing that commitment with others is the best way to carry this forth. You will be tested how do you intend to pass these tests?____________________
